WGN 9 O'Clock News 1989


 The WGN 9 O’Clock News, officially known as WGN News at Nine, is a long-running prime-time local newscast airing nightly at 9:00 PM Central on WGN-TV Channel 9 in Chicago. First launched in 1980, it was one of the earliest major local news programs to air in the 9 PM time slot and has become a flagship broadcast for the station.
